Found another good way of using Jerusalem artichoke (aka sunchoke): Kung-pao chicken with sunchoke. The sunchoke was so sweet and crunchy. Ian loved it!!! 今晚清冰箱,想作宮保雞丁缺洋蔥,卻從冰箱抽屜裡翻出前陣子在農夫市集買的本地菊芋(看起來像薑,以致於被我誤解地沉睡角落裡,還好它和甜瓜一樣耐放),拿來替代洋蔥,結果味道大好,口感甚佳。不拘成規、隨機應變的烹煮法,果然常能帶來驚喜。
除了下飯(竟然連米缸都見底,今晚吃藜麥)的宮保菊芋雞丁,今日晚餐乏善可陳。搭配簡單的檸檬醋沙拉、蒜炒雪豆苗、昨晚的滷豆乾吃完丟進豆皮再湊一碗。哦,還有一鍋喝了後就太撐的蘿蔔雞骨湯。
